Barry M Autumn Nails!

Hi Everyone,

The other day I hurried off to Superdrug to pick up the new releases from Barry M, Man it was a hard choice!

I tried to pick up one from each new release so hopefully you'll get to see what they're like just not in every colour, I shall be back for more though, They're too beautiful to resist!

Classic Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla - £3.99 Here
I now feel the need after looking at this picture to go and buy the rest of the Matte Range, They dry quite quickly only need maybe one to two coats and this shade is just beautiful, more of a slight pinky taupe shade than beige which is what I would associate with Vanilla though.

Nail Paint in Berry Cosmo - £2.99 Here
This shade is inspired by Cosmopolitan Magazine, Little quick fact I've picked up there for you, It's perfect for these upcoming months when everything gets more Vampy. Its more of a purple tone than a red, I was worried it may just be similar to other colours in the range such as Red Wine and Raspberry, but it definitely isn't.

Crystal Glaze - £3.99 Here
I've tried a few of these top coats, most unsuccessful but finally there's one that works! I've only tried this over Berry Cosmo, the picture doesn't do it justice at all, Because Berry Cosmo is quite a dark shade anyway I'm not sure if it will tint lighter colours pink toned, If it does I'll let you know. But other than that this is a great little top coat!

Royal Textured Glitter Nail Paint in Gold Majesty - £3.99 Here
This is the best of the bunch in my opinion of what I picked up, I love it to bits, That picture is just one coat! One Coat and it was practically opaque, its started to slightly chip just on the tip of my nails after three days wear, but for £3.99 you cant complain! Its sort of like a nude gold base with chunks of gold glitter running through it, reminds me of the O.P.I Liquid Sands.

I think I'll be picking up some more of the Royal Textured Collection and the Matte Collection too from Boot's when they launch. If there's any specific shades you d like to see let me know.

E.L.F Haul!

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with another Haul! Sorry! But E.L.F have had a amazing offer on this week *Sorry, I've just gone on to E.L.F's website and the offer has disappeared but don't worry E.L.F always have great offers on so there may be another one very soon* So sorry! Also just a warning this could be quite a picture heavy post...

The main reason for my order in the first place was to pick up some brushes for my college kit, I also saw a few extras just to treat myself with too...

Firstly I chose the Blending Eye Brush from the essential range, This is one of my favourite brushes from E.L.F, It does its job and its only £1.50 so I may of picked up three... Then I went for a Eye Crease Brush also from the essential range, It just fits so well in the crease and is great for adding colour then blending out with the Blending Brush too.

Next up I chose to get two of the essential Concealer Brushes, I don't actually use this for concealer as its perfect for lipstick and I wouldn't ever use another brush again for it. Lastly for the brushes I picked up a studio range brush, The Small Angled Brush, I love this to fill in eyebrows and to use with black eye shadow as a liner or even gel liner.

As a bit of a treat I picked up two of the Long Lasting Lustrous Shadows in Gala and Festivity, A bronze brown and a Purple, these reminded me of the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre eye shadows  so I think I might do a blog post soon comparing the two so look out for that.

Then onto the Autumn Goodie Bag Free Gift, You had to spend a minimum of £20 to qualify for this gift, but after seeing what I got I can definitely justify that £20.

Studio Matte Eye Shadow in Stone
I would never of picked this shade up for myself but I really quite like it, its kind of a cool blue toned slate grey, plus it comes with a tiny little cute brush too.

Toe Separators
Pretty basic, I don't think I'll use these but maybe they'll come in use one day, after the contents of the rest of the bag I don't really mind receiving these.

Mineral Eye Shadow in Confident
I've been eyeing up the Mineral Eye Shadows for a while, so now I'm very pleased to of got one, its a beautiful bronzed shade with a gold shimmer, its also very pigmented too.

Mineral Lip Gloss in Bare
This is probably a little too dark a shade for me, but I'll try it.

Studio Conditioning Lip Balm in Romantic Rouge
I'm excited to try this after hearing so many good things about them on other blog's, It'll be nice to see if they're as good as everyone says.

Studio Radiance Enhancer in Golden
I quite like this little product except that Golden probably wont suit me as I'm super pale, But I'm sure it'll come to use somehow.

Essential Eye Primer in Mystic Mauve
I love the basic E.L.F Eye Shadow Primer, so I was very excited to see this, I've got it on today and I love it, its great under lighter colours to make them purple toned.

(Swatches - Left to Right: Mystic Mauve Eye Primer, Long Lasting Shadow in Festivity, Long Lasting Shadow in Gala, Matte Shadow in Stone, Mineral Shadow in Confident, Mineral Gloss in Bare, Conditioning Lip Balm in Romantic Rouge and Radiance Enhancer in Golden.)

I'm very pleased with this bag as I've gotten to try out products I wouldn't usually try and things I've wanted to try, So next time E.L.F have a mystery bag it may be worth getting one, Some of the products from the bag are in the 10% sale, So you can still pick up some bargains too.

You can get the products - Here. Happy Shopping!

Also let me know if you want to see any of these products reviewed and I'll happily do it for you too.

September GlossyBox

Hi Everyone,

London Fashion Week! The inspiration behind Glossybox's September box. They released the image of the outside of the box a few weeks ago, This is by far my favourite Glossybox design ever! Words cannot be used for my excitement over the design of this box.

This month has also contained the first ever issue of GB Mag, I quite like that Glossybox has gone back to their product cards, I always loved them.

This months Glossy Mag includes A/W Trends, Interviews with Nilam Patel of HD Brows, Mark Hampton of Toni & Guy, Day in the life's... and the Glossybox's team's top 5 picks! As well as sneaky little exclusive offers dotted throughout!

I was half excited and half disapointed when I first opened my box I must admit, But after thinking about it, this really isn't a bad box and everything in here may get used at least once. I'm a bit confused though as two of the brands aren't actually British and this is a London themed box...

1) Eyelure Pre Glued Lashes - £5.06
Pretty straight forward lashes, no glue required, I do think its actually pretty nice to see an extra lash band in there for multiple uses. I don't really wear false eyelashes and I think if I ever was going to they'd have to be pretty natural, I'm not sure I'll use these but if not I'll add them to my kit.

2) Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Classic Shine & Gloss Serum - £7.19 for 30ml
I've not tried many Toni & Guy things, other than getting my hair done there. I'm slowly trying to get into haircare products so I'm excited to give this a whirl.

3) Elizabeth Arden Untold - £48-69 for 50-100ml
I love when you get quite a big perfume sample in Glossybox, the bottle for this is so cute too! I'm rubbish at describing scents but this is definitely very floral, I'm trying to refrain myself from running out and buying a full size!

4) Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Onyx Eye Liner - $14 for 3g
I'm a little confused why this is in this box as its in dollars and this is a London box... But I think its just a pretty standard felt tip liner, I'm not the best at eye liner so Im unsure if I'll actually get use out of this, Maybe one day.

5) Rimmel Stay Blushed Blusher in Sunkissed Cherry - £4.49 for 14ml
This is so pigmented! Just thought I'd get that out there, I wouldn't even say you need the pea size amount it recommends, I'm sure this will last me quite a while and for the price its amazing!

(Swatches: Bottom to Top - Rimmel Stay Blushed Blusher in Sunkissed Cherry Blended, Rimmel Stay Blushed Blusher in Sunkissed Cherry Heavily Swatched)

I wouldn't say this is the best box I've received but I'm pleased with it, especially the design! I've seen one other variation of the box, I quite prefer this one I think. Its right up my street with the make up! Although let me know what you got in your Glossybox If your subscribed!

Birthday and Manchester Haul

Hi Everyone,

Last weekend I went up to Manchester to go see Henry Holland in his ice cream van, Mr Quiffy, Only to find out it had been cancelled just as I arrived! So instead I thought its time for retail therapy! I told myself I needed all this, obviously not... Well some bits I needed? Here's what I picked up..
Topshop Knitted Quilted Jumper in Peach - Here

When in Manchester I practically bolted for Topshop, after seeing this jumper on Zoella, I knew I had to track it down! Three attempts later and I had it!.... But in a size 12.... (They were out of 8's). I bought it anyway because I love it, Crazy I know, but to be honest it doesn't even look huge, Its suppose to be baggy. So thank you Zoe for introducing me to this amazing jumper!
Henry Holland Black Textured Skater Skirt - Here

I needed a plain black skirt to wear to college for my uniform, so my first port of call had to be Henry! Practically another three shops again later, I finally got hold of it in my size!
NYX Butt Naked Palette - Here

This is the only birthday present ive included, I wanted to share it as I just love the name! Plus it's beautiful! Im going to do a review on this hopefully if I remember as its such a convenient and handy palette!
Bastille Bad Blood Album - Here

I'm currently obsessed with Bastille, I think they were in my last favourites post... I had a bit of time and popped into HMV, It accidentally ended up at the till?

Nars Sheer Glow In Mont Blanc - Here

I'm Pale as anything and foundation never seems to stay in place on me. Combine those two problems and I've found the solution in NARS Sheer Glow. I'm going to do a proper review on it soon, on a new mini series, so look out for that!

Clarins Crystal Lip Balm - Here

My Mum has like every single one of these and loves them, so when I noticed them at my local boots for £8!! I picked up Crystal Red, I think this is from the 2012 Summer Collection, But just have a look around and see if you can still pick some up!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Eyeliners in Bronze and Taupe - Here
I was going to pick up a MAC brown eyeliner, But I heard so many great things about these ones. I thought why spend so much on an eyeliner when you can get two probably just as good for cheaper!

I hope you enjoyed this kind of post, I don't think I've done a haul before! Let me know if its something you like, I always like to see what others of bought!

August Favourites!

Hey Guys,

I cant believe it's September already! Where did the year go?!
Sorry that a post every other day in August didn't go so well in the last week, Id been unwell after my birthday so I just didn't feel up to it and everything I did write wasn't worth publishing!

I found quite a few new obsessions in August and re found some old ones again, I've added another non beauty favourite at the end just as something a bit different too.

Firstly and just a warning I'm not that great at describing scents so I suggest you go sniff this yourself as I wont do it justice! (This is where Blogger needs a sniff button!). Florabotanica has been the only perfume I've worn all month, which is an achievement. It's quite strong at first, dark and warm, very floral, I think its rose. I wouldn't say its a day scent but that's what I've been grabbing it for, its more of a night time scent. Plus can I just say, that bottle, 10 out of 10!

Next up is the eyelash curlers I received out of my GlossyBox last month by Emite Make up, A Swedish brand but you can get them in the UK, You can ready my GlossyBox post here to read a bit about them. Now I see why expensive eyelash curlers are a lot better than Primark.

Then I have my MAC eye shadow in All That Glitters, Which I would say is a rose gold eye shadow, That I've loved wearing with bronze eye liner, Brilliant for blue eyes, I love the combination of the two because it brings the blue out so well. It's really soft and blends so easily its a dream to use.

I have to admit I have totally fallen for the Maybelline Baby Lips, Especially Hydrate, I reviewed them here. But I just love this one because of its taste and smell, I still wouldn't say its the most hydrating lip balm ever but the packaging and smell has won me over. Plus it seems never ending, I've used it loads and hardly anything seems to be gone!

Then finally I have my new favourite lip combination Dior Pink Croisette - Reviewed here, and MAC Creme Cup, The two are lovely on they're own but when combined, they're amazing. I've loved pairing this with my All That Glitters combination. I think I might need to pick up the NARS Dupe for Pink Croisette before I fall too in love!

(Swatches- Left to Right: Blended All That Glitters, All That Glitters, Pink Croisette, Creme Cup with Pink Croisette, Creme Cup. The Swatches don't do any of these justice unfortunately!)

Then for my non beauty favourite I've been loving Lady Gaga's new song Applause, Plus the video, Lady Gaga knows how to come back with a bit of a bang!

The only problem with this months favourites, I think I love them so much they'll probably be the same next month, all though now its September... I have an excuse to crack out the browns and the red lips! What have your favourites been this August? I always love to read others favourites too!
