New Year Resolutions

Hi Guys,

I'm not one to ever make new years resolutions, I cant actually remember the last time I did actually make one. I've come up with a few things this year though, so I'm going to give them a go and hopefully they'll last longer than January!

1. Blog more during 2015 and hopefully stick to a proper schedule.

2. Start saving and not go mad in boots as often...

3. Try different posts on the blog, baking and hopefully a bit of fashion.

4. Learn to drive.

5. Become more organised with college, blogging and basically overall.

Hopefully I'll stick with these, although I'm not too sure the staying way from boots one is going to work too well haha. Hope you've all had a great 2014 and hopefully a great 2015 too, Happy New Year!

Favourite Beauty Bits and Bobs of 2014

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share with you my favourite beauty bits from this year, well the ones I can remember at least... I was also going to add in some non beauty bits, but it'll be a bit too long I think. Just like the What's in my New Year's Make up Bag Post, this one is also going to be quite Illamasqua heavy.
Illamasqua have to be my top brand for 2014 though and possibly my all time favourite right now, They're really inspired me to get into colour and really experiment this year and I've totally fallen in love. Im just trying out so many new things that I would never of dared of putting on my face before.
More Skin care wise, I have been loving these three little saviours. My Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm also has to be up there, I just forgot to photograph it... sorry!

I have very very dry skin all year round, it also can become quite red and irritated. Thats why Ive been loving the Lush Eau Roma Water, which is a toner with rose. I first discovered this at the Sheffield Blogger Meet up, fell in love with the smell, then realised actually it was doing pretty good things with my skin, like calming it down.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream has been my go to just slap it on lip balm, the Nuxe one is a lot thicker, so for during the day the 8 Hour Cream is lighter but still hydrating. Also for that Hydrating kick, my Illamasqua Hydraveil, this product has not only made me fall in love with Skin Base. But it really does just give you an instant hit of hydration and makes my make up go on a lot smoother.
Illamasqua Skin Base in 3.5 has to be my foundation of the year, of course I have quite a few others that I love, but skin base has been the most well loved and used this year. It's just such a brilliant coverage, especially if you're having a bad skin day, yet its not heavy, its very light and so long lasting!

As well from Illamasqua, I have become obsessed with their Nail Polish in Melange, its so unique with its almost moss green base and the gold shimmer running through it. I think it didn't leave my nails for quite a few months, I cant remember any other polish being replaced over and over again like Melange was.

For my lips, I kicked off the year with the Baby Lips Cherry Me, which was super fast and easy, as well as still being hydrating and giving a slight colour. I was really enjoying quite natural make up, using a lot less products at the start of the year. Then my Illamasqua colour obsession happened, My favourite Illamasqua Lipstick this year has to be from their Glamore range, in Rosepout, its the perfect pinky nude for me. I did also love their matte lipstick in Brink which is a coral/orange shade.
Three very long standing favourites, not only this year but for quite a few previous years have been the Clinique High Impact Mascara, which I think I've used all year. Bar one month where I tried a Barry M one. I love what it does to my lashes, how defined they can be, I prefer it once its dried out too.

The other two long standing favourites are the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, which is a fantastic neutral base to apply under any eye shadow colour. I always need a product like this or my shadow will crease. Plus my Holy Grail, Illamasqua Thunder Brow Cake, I have been using this for nearly three years now and thats how much I have used. This beauty lasts for ages! It also does wonders for my pale brows.

Lastly I have new found friends in the form of the Illamasqua Powder Shadows, specifically in Vapour (Burnt Orange) and CanCan (Lilac) Leena from Illamasqua paired these two together, which I wouldn't expect to work but intact its insanely beautiful. Also with their Inception Shadow (Violet Purple), I have also loved their shade in Feint (Reddish Brown) too, The pigmentation of their shadows and the wear time are fantastic, well as are all of their products!

I may do a non beauty favourites post too, if thats something you'd like to read, I can think of quite a few things to add into it, I've gotten quite a bit of inspiration from even writing this!

My Roundup of The Big Blogmas Project

Hi Guys,

As you may of noticed I've been taking part in Blogmas this year and I am so pleased that Ive actually managed to do it, because I never ever expected to get this far. Its been great fun, even though I have been very busy, due to that I haven't been able to read as many blog posts as I usually like to. But I will catch up and have a January-Blogmas session!

So I thought out of the posts that I have read, I'd show you a few I've really liked, there was a few more but I looked at them on Bloglovin and cant find them anymore!
Cosy Winter Night Lush Stash by Knickers & Nail Polish - HERE
This post by Sarah is literally Lush Christmas heaven to me! Northern Lights, Dashing Santa, Luxury Lush Pud! I love reading hauls, so Lush ones are even better too. It makes me want to run to Lush again, but after that Boxing Day sale I doubt theirs anything left!
Christmas Decoration Wishlist by All Things Beautiful - HERE
You may of noticed my quite large obsession with Christmas Decorations this year, So I loved reading everyones Christmas Decoration Wish lists and having a good browse and actually trying to hunt down some pieces myself! I love Jessie's, especially because we seem to have a similar taste in decorations as I also am in love with the Moose and the lovely little Santa bauble, I think I actually have the bunting too haha.
Christmas Nail Art - Penguin by Beauty by Karis - HERE
Some of my favourite things, especially at Chrsitmas time are 1. Nail Art, 2. Glitter and 3. Penguins! (Monty in perticular!) I think Karis' nails are extremely cute and incredibly festive, I just want to dip my nails in the penguin glittery goodness! So can Christmas carry on for a few more weeks so I can try these myself?
A Little London Photo Diary - HERE
Finally I just wanted to add one of my posts, not in a strange show off way I hope. I just loved this post so much, It reminds me so much of the fun I had in London this year and also just the photos I had taken. I'd love to get a bit more into photography I think, its a bit of a different post for me but I really enjoyed it. This has to be my favourite post I've done.

What's in my New Year Makeup Bag?

Hi Guys,

As you're reading this Im currently away for New Year, but I couldn't not finish blogmas! I thought I'd share with you what I've chosen to put in my make up bag for my week away! I think I may of gone slightly overboard but this is after a lot of whittling down! Plus a little warning, this post is a bit Illamasqua mad, They're just my favourite brand.
I actually have added a few more bits too, I just like to have a big choice, which is usually a bit of a pain. I feel like I need my Zuca Trolley for my make up every time I go away haha, so Im quite pleased that Ive gotten it down to this many products.
Eyes
I bring my MAC Palette with me every time I go away anywhere, just because its the best option for me to have quite a wide selection of shades to pick from. Although I have brought my favourite Illamasqua shades in Vapour (Burnt orange) Can Can (Lilac Purple) and Inception (Violet Purple) for some brighter options.

I always wear a cream shadow under my eye shadow and my favourite one has to be the MAC Paint Pot in Soft ochre, its just very versatile. I also have a new found love for the Illamasqua Vintage Mettalix in Bibleot. I don't really wear any liner at the moment unless Im using the purple shades, so I've packed my Gel Liner from Illamasqua just incase.
Base
This is probably my go to base now, Illamasqua's Hydraveil and Skin Base come as a bit of a duo for me. I love Skin Base, but cant really wear it without Hydraveil as my skin is so dry it just doesn't work. Then what I even did before the Skin Base Lift Concealers by Illamasqua I dont know! I use two, Light 1 to Highlight and Light 2 to cover up any darkness under my eye Light 1 didn't cover. Because they're peach toned they cancel out the purple tones in my dark circles.

Finally to set I have my Nars Light Reflecting Loose powder, I find that If I set my make up with this powder it stays all day, it does crease a little under my eyes nearer to the end of the day. But seeing as that area usually creases way before that, this is actually really good. I do wish I'd bought the pressed version though as this can be a little messy to travel with.
Lips and Cheeks!
I decided to have an orange, red and nude option for my lipsticks. As well as a lipgloss, I picked my new Laura Mercier Plumping Gloss in Rose Flush because it seems like quite a nice your lips but better shade. For my red option, my new winter lipstick favourite Russian Red by MAC.

My favourite lipstick to wear with my purple eye shadows has to be my orange option, Brink by Illamasqua. It's not as scary a combination as it sounds! Also my other favourite right now by Illamasqua is Rosepout, for my nude option, I like teaming it with the Maybelline Lip Liner in Soft Pink.

Ive also packed my Virtual Domination Nars Palette, It's just a lot easier to travel with rather than the usual two full size blushes, two highlighters and a sculpting kit combination, I try to cram into my make up bag. As long as I remember to be light handed with Laguna i'll hopefully be fine!
Brows and Little Extras!
I have found a new found glitter love! Lime Crime Glitter, I love Leo, for a really festive party eye. Set with the Illamasqua Sealing Gel this just does not move! I had it on, on Christmas Day from 10am to 11pm and I noticed no fall out at all!

For my brows, I have my trusty old Brow Cake in Thunder and to clean them up and attempt to give them the Illamasqua Brow look, I love to use Vow Pencil underneath and blend it out. It also hides any stray hairs if needed.

I dont wear false lashes, until I found the Tanya Burr Everyday Flutter lashes and now all I want to do is wear them constantly.

What I got for Christmas!

Hi Guys,

I always love reading What I Got for Christmas Posts, So I thought I'd do a bit of a quick one on what I was very lucky to receive this year. Im not posting this to brag at all, I just loved everything that I got and I think they're also products that I think/hope you'd love to see too.
I got quite a mixture this year and so many lovely surprises, If I could id be using everything all at the same time haha.
Lush Snow Fairy is probably the cult lush christmas product haha. I never actually buy it, so its lovely to have a bottle, which Is probably going to be strictly rationed! Night Before Christmas Gift Set has one of my favourites Twilight Bath Bomb, so it was a hit right from then! I also love the Father Christmas Bath Bomb and Christmas Eve Bubble Bar, its such a lovely gift which I cant wait to get stuck into!
Three of my favourite things in one picture, Costa, Minions and Harry Styles haha! My mum knows me too well, plus she loves Harry too. I love the Costa cup, its so cute! Then there is Dave, the Minion, I have quite the obsession with Minions, I was extremely excited when I opened this from my Aunt.
I had seen Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes on Sam from Pixiwoo’s Instagram a few months ago and it suddenly became quite the hit! I kept saying that I’d read it but never got round to actually getting it, so I'm really looking forward to reading it now.
I haven’t tried Laura Mercier Glosses before, I had seen them when we were in Harrods. But my mum got me the Plumping Gloss in Rose Flush for Christmas, So I finally get to try one.
Pretty much all of my family know I'm Illamasqua obsessed, so I'm very happy to of gotten the Wonderlust lipgloss which I think would be great layered over dark colours, or just for mixing to make a shade darker. Plus the nail paint in Strike is a beautiful metallic shade too.
I have quite the soft spot for Burberry this year, I also love Cara Delevigne, so when I saw her campaign for My Burberry I was in love. I had no idea I was getting this, it also has my initials on it, which I think is so sweet and such a personal touch. Im not even sure I want to use it haha!
From my Mum I also got the Topshop Check Cape and Tall Slouchy Jumper, Since moving back to Scotland I seem to of forgotten how cold it is up here!! So I am super pleased to have nice warm things to wrap up in, especially a jumper that'll fit my giant self too!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and got what you wished for, I actually had no clue what I wanted and I absolutely love everything I got. Thank you to everyone who got me something too, If you're reading this!

Christmas Day!

Hi Guys,

This is just a few pictures, that capture a bit of my day yesterday and possibly the destruction caused... haha.
I was woken up at 6am on Christmas Day to my brother attempting to tickle me, I was actually quite pleased it was 6, as he'd promised it would be 5am the night before. This is where the destruction started as you might of noticed, my brother likes to cover the room in wrapping paper haha.

I did create my fair share of mess on my dressing table too though, We actually went out for Christmas dinner, so I didn't really want to just whip out my camera and start taking loads of pictures. So sadly there isn't any of the food, (which was yum!) but there is my failed attempt at my gingerbread house instead haha.

A bit of Top of the Pops has to be watched, especially if its Ed Sheeran! I had a really nice Christmas Day and I really hope you all had a great one too!

My 5 Christmas Traditions

Hi Guys,

I really racked my brain to think of Christmas traditions I do, It never really occurred to me what I do every year. Ive come up with four kind of traditions. I'd love to hear your traditions too!
1. The Christmas Tree always has to be up on the 1st of December. however the tree has so many decorations sometimes its still going on till the 3rd...

2. Micheal Buble's Christmas album is played quite a few times throughout the month.

3. The Dr Who Christmas special is always watched exactly on time.

4. A new Christmas decoration is always bought every year to add to the tree for the next year.

5. There is always a Clementine and a pound coin in every stocking!

A bit of a short post, but I really cant think of many traditions! I would really like to hear some of yours, then maybe I'd be able to remember mine haha.

My Christmas Jumper

Hi Guys,

I just want to share with you my Christmas Jumper for this year, I cant say Ive ever been a massive fan of the Christmas jumper thing. Ive never really been able to find one that I really loved, however this year Topshop have my kind of Christmas Jumpers.
I actually have been wearing this a lot! If I could wear it everyday at this rate I would of! Its very warm, which I didn't expect after first seeing it in store.
These are three of my other favourites from Topshop this year. Especially the Christmas tree one, I felt it in store too and its extremely soft and warm, it was difficult to decide between Team Rudolph and this one.

Sequin Christmas Tree Jumper - HERE
December 25th Sweater - HERE
Seasons Greeting's Sweater - HERE

So if you need to get a last minute Christmas Jumper, I really recommend popping into Topshop, Ive found even though they're a lot more expensive you could actually wear them for more than just Christmas Day!

Candy Cane Cupcakes

Hi Guys,

I am OBSESSED with the Hummingbird Bakery and dare I say it, I think its the best Bakery I have ever been to! I have collected quite a few of their books and if I had the time I'd be making all their recipes constantly! So when I was having a flick through the books and spotted this Candy Cane Cupcake Recipe, I just had to give it a go and thought I'd share it with you too! Also after a lot of requests to do it too, between the votes for the Snickerdoodles - HERE and this!
These look so cute for this time of year and just remind me of the North Pole haha!
YOU WILL NEED:
For the sponge:                                            Forthe frosting:
80g Softened UnsaltedButter                    500g Icing Sugar
280g Caster Sugar                                          160g Softened UnsaltedButter
240g Plain Flour                                             4 tsp PeppermintEssence
1 tbsp Baking Powder                                    50ml Whole Milk
1/4 tsp Salt                                                      2-3 tsp Red Liquid Food Colouring
240ml Whole Milk                                         Transparent Sugar forSprinkling
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
2 Large Eggs

1. Line your muffin tin, this recipe makes 12-16 Cupcakes. Preheat your oven to 190c / 375F / Gas Mark 5.
2. Either using an electric whisk or electric mixer with a paddle, slowly whisk together the butter, sugar, salt, baking powder and flour, until it looks like fine breadcrumbs.
3. In a jug combine the vanilla essence and the milk, add the eggs and whisk by hand. Pour three quarters of the milk/egg mixture into your dry ingredients, mixing on a slow speed. Increase the speed to medium until the mixture is thick but smooth. Add the remaining liquid mixture to the batter until its smooth.
4. Fill the cases two thirds up with the batter and bake them for 18 to 20 minutes.
5. Again using your electric mixer, beat together the icing sugar, butter and peppermint essence on a slow speed, until the mixture looks like sand with no big lumps.
6. Slowly add the milk and slowly mix together, once it is combined you can increase to a medium speed until its light and fluffy. You can then divide the mixture into two and add the red food colouring to one half.
7. Using a piping bag or make a makeshift one with a plastic food bag, add the two mixtures so they're next to each other and not on top of each other, pipe it onto your cool cupcakes like an ice cream spiral, then finally sprinkle on your sugar!
Well I'm off to go and eat these little delights! If you give them a go tweet me a picture! I hope you enjoy them as much as I am!

My Christmas Playlist

Hi Guys,

I can't really say I have much of a Christmas Playlist, So this is more of a mini Playlist of Christmas songs I've recently discovered and actually really quite like!

My Christmas Playlist usually consists of the Michael Buble Album my mum has been listening to non stop. Which I mean I don't mind Mr Buble, but its nice to have a bit of a change after listening to him constantly.
Sam Smith is extremely popular in my house and as soon as we heard that he was doing a Christmas song, well basically Sam Smith can do no wrong. His version is amazing too, he's just got such a fantastic voice!
The famous Band Aid Single has had a revamp and I really like this, Harry Styles, Sam Smith, Bastille and Ed Sheeran making an appearance too, whats not to like. Plus its all for such a good cause.
Not really a song, but what can I say, I just love the Minions and I think this is so adorable!

Except from the classics too, I really love Fairy Tale of New York by the Pouges. This is my new mini playlist of the new Christmas releases that Im loving! Let me know what your favourites are too because as you can see my little collection is thin on the ground haha!

Snickerdoodle Cookies

Hi Guys,

After asking on twitter what would be preferred out of the Candy Cane Cupcake Recipe, or a recipe on Snickerdoodle Cookies, both from my favourite Humming Bird Bakery book! I got the same amount of votes for each, so here is the recipe for the cookies and the cupcakes will be up on Tuesday!. Im also very excited because it now means I can eat both...
I have to admit Im not a 100% sure what a snicker doodle is, I thought they actually contained nuts, but they look extremely yummy!
YOU WILL NEED:
For the sponge:                                            For the coating:
60g Softened Unsalted Butter                    1 tbsp Caster Sugar
160g Caster Sugar                                           1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
240g Plain Flour
1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 Large Egg

1. Either using an electric whisk or electric mixer with a paddle, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla essence until its light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix in well.
2. Sift the rest of the ingredients into the mixture, do it in 2 to 3 batches. Mix together well into a dough ball and put it into a bowl, cover with cling film and pop in the fridge for 40 minutes.
3. Preheat your oven to 170C / 325F / Gas Mark 3 and line a baking sheet with baking parchment.
4. Mix together the Caster Sugar and Cinnamon for coating in a bowl.
5. Break the dough into small walnut sized pieces and roll them in the coating. Place them on your baking sheet with about 4cm apart so they don't become one big cookie! You may have to do them in batches.
6. Stick them in the oven for 10-13 minutes or until golden. Once done leave to cool, then eat!
I cant wait to get stuck into these and they're perfect now that its colder! Tweet me any pictures of them if you make them too!

My Favourite Christmas Posts!

Hi Guys,

I haven't had much time to read many blog posts this month as I've been so busy, but theres been a few that have really caught my eye and need sharing!
I also didn't realise how into DIY and Baking/Festive Food I was this year, so those types of posts have really caught my eye!
Driving Home for Christmas on Vivianna Does Makeup - HERE
I am going away on the 27th and I have been trying to decide which beauty products to take with me. I currently love so many products as Im trying out so many different looks, I just cant decide! So when I saw that Vivianna had a post on going home for Christmas, it was a great bit of inspiration on what to whittle my selection down by and what not to forget!
DIY Christmas Baubles on Nouvelle Daily - HERE
I have become a Christmas decoration fiend this year! I love them and just want to go crazy and buy tons! I hadn't thought of making any, but once I saw this post, I need glitter and glue now! These just make me so happy and I will definitely be making myself some, probably next year now sadly. I will be trying these out and they're so simple too, including the fact each one is unique, I just love them!
DIY Snow Globe on Mercuteify - HERE
These are just beautiful, I used to love making snow globes when I was younger and they looked nothing like this haha. I like to think of these as grown up Snow Globes that I want to make loads of and cover my house in...
Home Made Costa Hot Chocolate! on Vavaviolet - HERE
I really don't like hot drinks, the only one I can really drink is Costa Hot Chocolate, the original or their festive White Hot Chocolate. Now I cant drink Costa's 24/7, so the idea of an at home Costa Hot Chocolate is music to my ears. I will definitely be making this and hopefully it'll solve my Costa Hot Chocolate Issues.

Illamasqua Aura Palette

Hi Guys,

I am Illamasqua Obsessed. So when they released their new collection Facets for Christmas with a whole lot of newness mixed with a whole lot of very popular and maybe even holy grail favourites. Well how could I not run to Illamasqua in excitement!
Illamasqua has released the range with a Brush Set, very nice! Make up bag, which I have a little review on HERE, an Eye Trio which has rose gold lids!! As well as two new palettes! I have one of them here today, which is Aura, there is also Semblance too.

Illamasqua are more well known probably for their brighter shades rather than the more neutral ones, but as much as I love the bright ones, I love this palette. It is perfect to travel with, all you really need is a lipstick, foundation and mascara and you're practically sorted.
The new palettes are fantastic for travelling as they include not only four Eye Shadows, a Brow Cake, Cream Pigment, Gleam Highlighter and a Powder Blusher. As well as a extremely cute double sided miniature brush!

The Cream Pigment is in the shade Hollow, it is FANTASTIC! To contour with if you're pale, I really struggle with contour as a lot of contour products come out more orange toned on me. Hollow though is taupe with a very cool undertone and mimics the natural shadow. You can also use it all over the eyes as a base for your shadows too!

Next to it is the Brow Cake in Thunder, I haven't used anything else for my brows for two years! It is a really universal shade and can be used on bleach blondes to dark brunettes, If you're building a pro kit, you need this in there! It's a waxy warm toned powder which not only fills in your brows but coats the hairs, you can get such a natural look from this to the signature Illamasqua brow. This is definitely a holy grail product!

The four Eye shadows included are Vision (Gold toned shimmer white shade), Servant (Peach), Fient (Red toned brown) and Machine (Black with a slight glitter). Whats great about the Illamasqua Shadows are that they not only include a lot of matte shades, which are quite hard to come by, they're extremely pigmented. As are all of their products, they last a good while! The shadows are lovely to blend too, especially the more shimmer shades.
Gleam in Aurora is slowly becoming my favourite Highlight, its a cream highlight and it is beautiful. Its not glittery or overly shimmery it just makes the skin look like it has a wonderful glow, its very natural and picks up the light leaving a subtle highlight.

Tremble is a soft pink blush, which has a slight purple undertone. Its very natural and would work on most skin tones. Illamasqua Blushers are extremely pigmented and you only need a little bit, this will last you for ages!

The mini brush is seriously cute! With the angled brush on one end and what I want to say is a mini version of their Concealer Brush, is fantastic to have in a palette instead of those ridiculous sponge applicators. The angled side is my new go to for eyebrows and is amazing for getting extremely precise lines.
(Swatches - Left to Right: Machine, Feint, Servant, Vision, Hollow, Thunder, Tremble and Aurora)

The palette is £45 and available HERE. If you have a darker skin tone, Semblance is great, you can have a peek at that one HERE. The only difference in the two is that there is four different shadow shades, Mirage Gleam and Hussy Blush instead.

It's Christmas Time with Barry M!

Hi Guys,

Christmas is the time of year where everything gets sparkly from your tree to your nails. I love this time of year not only for all the festivities, but also for the fact Barry M release their sparkling limited edition range of nail paints!
Barry M know how to do nail polishes and are always right on it with their releases, I do wish these weren't limited edition as I'm obsessed with glitter. But every year Barry M teams up with Superdrug and Boots, plus this year Tesco too. To release a little something for everyone at Christmas, plus at only £3.99 each its difficult not to want to collect them all!
Boots Starlight and Moonlight
Starlight is packed full of stars, which perfectly suits its name. The stars are silver and are a lot bigger than the rest of the glitter, which really makes them stand out. It's mixed in with a combination of gold and baby pink glitter hexagons and fine glitter. The glitter is suspended in a clear polish which makes them more suitable as a top coat.

Moonlight is more packed with glitter compared to Starlight but again is great just as a topcoat. It also shares the fine glitter in silver and the silver stars, as well as the silver and gold hexagons. The only difference with this polish mainly is the red wiggly shaped glitter. (Very technically named there!)

Both Starlight and Moonlight can be found HERE or are free when you spend £6 on Barry M at the moment.
Superdrug Christmas Tree and Jingle Bells
Christmas Tree suits its name so well, with the dark forest green glitter suspended in the clear polish. The green glitter comes in a range of sizes from circles and hexogans to strip glitter. It also has a mixture of gold and silver stars that really stand out against the green, plus the little red wiggly strands that actually remind me of santa's hat in shape!

Jingle Bells is very similar to Christmas Tree in the size and shapes of the glitter, except that Jingle Bells is a gold based glitter rather than the green. I think both of these polishes suit their name so well and the time of year, as they're a lot more traditional.

You can grab Christmas Tree - HERE and Jingle Bells - HERE online, but also on the spend £6 and get one free deal too.
(Swatches - Left to Right: Starlight, Moonlight, Christmas Tree and Jingle Bells)

There is also a really pretty purple gem in the collection, exclusive to Tesco. Its called Twilight, so of course the fact its called that, glittery and purple I went on a hunt to find it. Turns out its a lot harder to find than I expected so I've tracked it down HERE in case you want to take a peek!

My Favourite Christmas Film!

Hi Guys,

I was a little stumped when I was coming up with my favourite Christmas Films, now of course I have films that I watch practically every year and films that I really like. However I don't exactly have a list of die hard loves from Christmas Time. When unpacking the boxes from moving though, I found this little gem! Which Im a little biased about but I think its such a fantastic film that isn't very well known!
Eloise at Christmas Time is based on a best seller book by Kay Thompson. It's all about a six year old girl called Eloise who lives in the Penthouse at the Plaza Hotel in New York. She lives with her Nanny, Pug dog called Weenie and her pet turtle, Skiperdee. She's quite the mischief maker and I loved watching and reading about her adventures as I grew up. Eloise basically takes it upon herself in the film to become a bit of a spy and help her neighbour in the process. Of course she has to cause her usual havoc around the hotel at the same time too.

I dont really want to spoil the film for anyone but I thoroughly recommend watching it, Its not very well known and I wish it was because it is such a funny film and fantastic at Christmas time. Every time I watch it I just want my own Weenie and Skiperdee! It can be difficult to find on DVD but if you can't find it, the book is fantastic with amazing Illustrations swell. I hope that if you do get to see this film you love it as much as I have!

Eloise x
