My Favourite Books

Hi Guys,

Ive read a lot of books when I was younger, not so much recently. However this year Ive gotten back into reading, This is a pick of my all time favourites, to brand new reads!
My favourites are probably very popular reads, I tend to stick to these as I mostly hear of books from others that have been talking about them a lot. Be warned Im not the best at book descriptions too!
The Fault in our Stars and Paper Towns by John Green
I didn't get to read The Fault in our Stars before I saw the film. Im in love with the film and I knew I had to read this straight away. It took me one train journey to London and I'd almost read the whole thing, I just couldn't put it down, to the point where we got to Euston and I didn't want to get off the train until I'd finished it! Its a strange book as its such a funny one, but so sad at the same time. It follows the life of two Teenagers, Hazel and Gus. Hazel has terminal cancer and meets Gus at a support meeting, they not only fall in love, but also in love with a book, which they follow out their interests in finding answers to the book with lots of unexpected turns.

I decided after the success of reading The Fault in our Stars on the way to London, That I'd get Paper Towns for the next time I was going to London and it happened again. I didn't want to put it down. Paper Towns follows Quentin and Margo. Quentin's journey to figure out margo after she disappears,  after a night of taking part in a bit of a secret mission plotted by Margo on their high school friends/enemies. Im super excited to see the film when it comes out too!

The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
The Twilight Saga has to be my all time favourite set of books, Including Eclipse, I've currently lost mine and need to go get myself another one. My Twilight Saga books are very well loved and falling apart from reading them so much. The basic plot is about Edward Cullen, a vampire, and his family. Edward then falls in love with Bella Swan, who is best friends with Jacob Black, who is also in love with Bella. It follows the troubles the three of them have throughout the four books and their love story, while battling other vampires...
Girl Online By Zoe Sugg (Zoella)
Zoella's debut novel, Girl Online, is now the fastest selling debut novel of all time! It's insane, but so deserved, Zoe is a massive inspiration to me and I've loved reading this book. I am yet to finish it, as Im currently still reading it. I was lucky enough to get tickets to Zoe's book signing in Glasgow last week, which was amazing but kind of short. As far as Ive got to, its about a girl called Penny, who has an anonymous blog and is dealing with anxiety, She lands the family a opportunity of a life time to go to New York and meets a boy called Noah there, who almost threatens her anonymity.

I hope the book descriptions weren't too awful and made sense, but let me know what your favourite books are and what you recommend reading as I'm really trying to get back into it!

  1. I've also found that I don't have as much time to read as I used to before starting my own blog! I loved the Twilight trilogy and The Fault In Our Stars. Will have to read Zoella's books soon x

  2. I really enjoyed paper towns, although it was a little different than I expected and definitely got me thinking! It didn't end how I wanted it too either I really hoped they'd end up together xx

    1. I definitely didn't think it would end how it did either, I wanted the same. Maybe we can petition for another book with an alternative ending?
