GlossyBox July

Hi Everyone,

Last weekend my Glossybox finally came after a week of me saying "Is it here yet?!" (Turns out I got the dispatch dates wrong....) Again I hadn't really seen or gone looking for any spoilers on this box, so it was a complete surprise, a very good one actually...
This months theme was Seaside Splash to get everyone prepared for their holidays and finally Summer!! I wasnt sure what to think about this theme, I just didn't really have any products pop to mind for it.
When I first opened the box I was shocked and so excited, The products are a lot better than what I thought they'd be, This is what I got in my box:
1) Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz (£6 for 100ml) I've had a few Anatomicals products which  I liked, I love facial sprays, so I was very pleased to see this in the box. I wouldn't use this to set my make up though just to rehydrate during this hot weather. Its very fitting to the box theme too.

2) Coola Organic Suncare Collection Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented (£29.99 for 50ml) I've never really worn a tinted moisturiser and well this seems to be a tinted SPF, But I have been looking into a sheer base for the summer so maybe this will be it. The only problem is it seems to be one shade suits all which may not work with my super pale skin.

3) Essie Sleek Sticks in 05 a to a Zebra (£9.99 per pack) I love Essie Polishes, I have a heap of nail wraps that I've never used, so maybe these ones will be really good to start me off. I cant say I'm a fan of this design though and the price, £10 for one use! They better be amazing.

4) Sleek Makeup Pout Paint in 154 Mauve Over and 161 Minx (£4.99 - Each 8ml) I remember when these first came out, (My cousin bought the red, white and blue), They are super pigmented, you really only need the teeniest drop, I'm not sure about the purple one but I might just mix and match them and maybe pick up a few more to mix up.

5) Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist (£23 for 125ml) I am too lazy to straighten my hair half the time and have been liking the more curly wavy hair look, so this could be another handy product to play around with in this heat! Its also quite a good sample size just to chuck in my bag too.

Overall I think this is a great box for this month and this heat, its got such minimal effort products that are just perfect for this time and I cant see a single product I wont use, GlossyBox has pulled off another great box this month!

Sorry this is such a late post as well, I've had family over, not been too well and then just this insane heatwave has to be honest made me slightly lazy and not want to do anything other than watch beauty tutorials and read more blogs!

If any of you have a blog leave me a link in the comments, I always love reading new ones, Plus what have you thought about this months Glossybox?

June Favourites

Hi Everyone,

I'm back! Sorry for such a long break but every time I went to write a new blog post I wasn't happy with it, I didn't want to upload something I wasn't happy with just for the sake of uploading something.

But I'm finally back with a long over due favourites and for once I actually have favourites that don't include the same products over and over again. I actually had to really slim down this months favourites before I went overboard!
I did however go slightly over board with two brands this month which are both high end - middle end priced, Sorry! But I have really super loved these products this month so I had to share them, They're worth the money!
Last month was a bit of a Barry M nail haul month... Luckily I did discover this little gem though! (I'm using that to justify how much I bought.. Oops!) But anyway I did a bit of a quick review of this last month - here, But I wore this to Imats and I just love it! It dries quickly, It packs a lot of glitter! So I didn't need a lot of coats, I didn't have a problem with chipping for around 4 days which you cant complain when its £2.99!

Next is another one which I've done a bit of a post on - Here, Even though I said I prefer the peach one, This product has been a saviour, Last month I broke out really badly, right before Imats as well! So I was on a mission to find something quick and easy that would clear my skin up and The Clarins One Step Cleanser worked! Plus look how much I've used, a little goes such a long way with this product!
To go with trying to clear up my break out, I wanted to cover it up. Which is where the Clarins Skin Illusion foundation came in, It smells amazing, It has a great coverage, I'd say medium but you could really buff it in and make it sheer, or really build it up. Its lasting power is amazing but I still powdered it as I was more oily due to the break out. I have the shade Ivory which is the lightest shade but is still too dark for me as you'll see in the swatches, I'm thinking about doing a review of different foundations I've tried so Leave me a comment if you'd like to see that kind of thing!

To go with the foundation I wanted a really good concealer to cover up any bits I missed, Only to find I'd ran out of my Collection Lasting Perfection! So I dug around my drawer to find MAC Studio Sculpt, Which I now realise is discontinued so I'm savouring this little pot, However I think I've found another one which will most probably be in my next favourites to replace it, so don't be alarmed if you cant get this any more! But MAC if your reading this, Bring it back!!

Lastly beauty wise I've been loving MAC Woodwinked eye shadow on my outer corners with Naked Lunch all over the lid, Woodwinked is quite a difficult shade to wear, But if you have blue eyes you need to try this! It makes your eyes stand out so much more, Its a very soft and creamy bronze gold which when blended out can go slightly orange, Its unusual but amazing!
(Swatches - Left to Right: Mac Studio Sculpt NW15 Concealer - Blended, Mac Studio Sculpt NW15 Concealer, Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation in Ivory - Blended, Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation in Ivory, MAC Woodwinked)
Lastly and quickly is a non beauty favourite in the shape of Imats, I blogged about it quickly here. But I loved it, It was an amazing experience, Meeting my inspirations and just overall beauty heaven, I really hope I can go next year, I wish  could go back just now!

What have been your beauty favourites last month? and non beauty favourites too! Let me know if you want me to start a bit of a series on foundations I've tried and what I think about them too if its something you'd like to see!
