MAC Warm Neutral Palette!

Hi Guys,

Firstly sorry about the lack of posting again, moving house and trying to complete my college course has made everything suddenly very busy! I do have lots of posts planned and I'm really going to try to write them in advance for you too! Plus I may have a Blog Sale with a few bits popping up very soon!

I'll stop rambling and get onto the post I am such an MAC Addict, that as soon as I saw these I could of cried with joy, MAC have finally joined onto the neutral palette bandwagon.

MAC have released two pre filled 15 pro pan palettes, a warm version and a cool version, I was only able to get my hands on the warm version as the cool one seems to of been extremely popular. I can see why though as the palettes are pre filled with popular permanent shades and re promoted limited edition shades! They also offer a mix of finishes, including Veluxe Pearl, Satin, Frost, Lustre, Velvet and Matte, so there's lots to play around with.

Top Row: Hey, Warm Breeze, Gingersnap, Dark Brew, Dance in the Dark.
Middle Row: Brule, Vanilla Extract, Honey Lust, Amber Lights, Saddle.
Bottom Row: Lemon Tart, Butter Fudge, Creative Copper, Unwind, Divine Decadence.

The top row is definitely the more pink based one, I also don't think any of the shades are permanent, these would look great on blue and green eyes, all of the shades would in fact. Out of the shades on the middle row I know, Brule, Amber Lights and Saddle are permanent. Then again the bottom row has no permanent shades.

The shades are very pigmented, maybe not so much with Hey and Brule but I think they're more highlight and base shades so I don't mind that. The shades like Amber Lights, Unwind and Divine Decadence are really creamy and work beautifully.

The other plus side to this palette as well as it being filled with tons of amazing limited edition shades, is the price. At £65, which may seem like quite a lot due to the Naked Palettes being £35. But to buy one MAC eye shadow is £10 and the case and insert works out to £20, so to build this palette yourself it would cost £170!!! That's saving £105.

I think the two palettes would be great for Make up artists, beauty addicts and just people starting out too, it offers so much choice and there's so many looks that could be created! I think I will have to get my hands on the cool palette, if its anything like this one I "need" it in my life haha!

  1. Ooh all of these shades are absolutely stunning! :D
I recently treated myself to the Naked palette though so I can't justify buying anymore eyeshadow for a long while!
