My Favourite Nude Nails

Hi Guys,

I'm in love with nude shades recently, between my obsession with Nude Lips, It's transferred over into nail polish. With the Summer months coming to an end, yet I still don't class it as Autumn just yet, I've found nude nails my go to in between nail shade.
I used to just use nude varnishes for french manicures, but recently while being stuck in a rut over not wanting to be too bright, yet I cant bare to crack out the darker shades, I've found myself scouring through the collection, picking out my favourites.
Barry M Nude - I think this is one of the prettiest shades, its a classic french manicure like colour. But doesn't look odd if you wear it by itself, its a sheer bare pink, that dries to a shiny finish. It's natural yet noticeable and the more layers you add the stronger the colour, plus it dries incredibly quickly, so you don't need to wait long to add those layers.

Color Club Barely There - This one lies more on the brown side of the shades, with its caramel tone. The opacity of this is brilliant, only needing two coats to get a lovely shine and a good even colour. It also has a very creamy finish and again dries quite quick.

Burberry Nude Biege - The prices one of the bunch, but for Burberry I think its worth it. The slightly yellow tone to this polish is fresh and pretty. It's not too sheer yet not fully opaque. Its designed after the iconic trench, which just makes me love it even more. Plus it applies beautifully as it has a really wide, tapered brush.

Essie Ballet Slippers - This is my go to french manicure shade, its a very sheer polish that gives just a tint of a creamy pink. Its beautifully natural and blends a white tip really well for a french manicure. I can see why its a popular favourite and even favoured by the Queen!

Ciate Cookies & Cream - I love this shade, I would still class it as nude, even though it leans more towards the mink side. However even with its slightly grey tone, it looks lovely and again natural, It's not in your face. It's also versatile with how many coats you can wear it with, either with a couple for a sheer look or you can really build them up and have a  much stronger shade.
Swatches: Left to Right - Cookies & Cream, Ballet Slippers,  Nude Beige, Barely There and Nude.
I love that each shade is slightly different, they're so versatile and go with any outfit. I've never really thought about how useful they are to have, the perfect transitional shades.
