Boots and Ciate Advent Calender Weekly Roundup! #1

Hi Guys,

I asked on twitter the other week if a little first impressions and review type post each week about the Boot's Advent Calender, is something that you'd like to read and I got lots of replies saying Yes! So this is the first part of three in the series that will be going up every eight days!

I also picked up the Ciate Mini Mani Month Calender at the Clothes Show too so I thought I would combine the two and do a round up of them both each week!

1st - Soap and Glory Clean Girls Shower Gel
I'm yet to try this specific one and its a full size travel size bottle which is great seeing as I'm super obsessed with Soap and Glory!

2nd - Balmi Mint Lip Balm
I have the old version of this when they used to be round not square, looking forward to using this though.

3rd - Mavala Nail Polish in 53 London
A classic raspberry red shade.

4th - Nina Ricci Nina Perfume
I have the big bottle of this and forgot I had it so getting this has made me remember to use it!

5th - Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in Ivory
I just bought the full size of this, not sure if I like it though on my dry skin. great sample for travelling with though.

6th - Vichy Skin Idealizer Serum
I have this from a past Glossybox, another one I'm looking forward to using.

7th - Black XS Perfume by Paco Rabanne
I've never tried this before so once I manage to get it out of the box I'll be intrigued to try it!

8th - Umberto Giannini Pom Pom Band
This is just basically a black hair bobble with a huge big pom pom ok it haha.

Ciate Mini Mani Month!

I love the Packaging to this calender so much! I don't think id be able to throw it away! You also get a little funnel with it too for the Caviar Pearls.  I've pictured the polishes clockwise from the sparkly top one and then the eighth polish is the Caviar beads in the middle!

1st - Snow Globe
A Clear polish with Iridescent flakes that when layered over other polishes create specks of changing colours.

2nd - Boudoir
A classic raspberry red.

3rd - Amazing Gracie
A white but pink toned polish, looks more baby pink in the bottle.

4th - Pillow Fight
A purple toned grey, mostly purple.

5th - Hoopla
A baby pink nearly coral shade, very peachy.

6th - Sugar Plum
A lavender pastel lilac shade.

7th - Main Stage
A Blue toned fuchsia pink

8th - Midnight in Manhattan
Caviar Pearls in a mixture of black and golf with a few dark blue pearls.

I love both of these Calendars, my favourite from the Ciate Mini Month this week has to be the polish in Snow Globe and from the Boots Beauty Calender it has to be the Soap and Glory Clean Girls Shower Gel as you probably know by now I'm a sucker for Soap and Glory haha!

Clothes Show Live + Haul!

Hi Guys,

I wanted to get this post up today as I was at the Clothes Show yesterday! So I wanted anyone who goes on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday to see what you can get too! Sorry today's post is going up pretty late though as I've just started a new job today so I haven't had time to take photos in good lighting!

Just a quick warning too this post is going to be very picture heavy!

I'm going to also upload as well as a few pictures from the day, a video or two on Instagram from the actual fashion show, which you can see at my elomallow Instagram Account!

Benefit teamed up with Citroen to create a Benefit Car! I couldn't get the best pic of it but I thought I'd get a quick snap!

Firstly I stopped off at Models Own as they had the Clothes Show Limited Edition Nail Polish in Show Stopper! In a goodie bag for £10! You have to choose three polishes so I picked:

- Tropical Sun
- Indian Ocean
- Absinthe

Then you also get eyeshadow applicators, a brown and a black eyeliner, a white kohl liner, a bubblegum lip balm, mirror, nail buffer and black sparkly eye pencil crayon, oh and a cream eyeshadow in Pink Piper.

Then I went along to the Barry M Stand to get one of their infamous goodie bags which included a Purple Foil Limited Edition Nail Paint, Gold Nail Paint, Gold Crackle Nail Paint, Retro Nail Paint in 04 Coral, a no name Nail Paint in I'm guessing Silver, Dazzle Dust in 26, Dazzle Dust in 11, Intense Mascara in Black, Super Soft Eye Crayon in 10, Glitter Crayon in 7, Eye Kohl in 16 and Lipgloss (which has no name).

So Susan and Jelly Pong Pong are basically the same brand in a way, they both originally were just Jelly Pong Pong and now So Susan has made it's way as its own brand! I have a few of the products from Glossy Boxes and past Clothes Shows.

In the So Susan Goodie Bags you got the water based pure luminizer, Eyeshadow Palette, Lip and Cheek Crayon and an eight hour cheek stain. You got all those products for £5!

Then for the Jelly Pong Pong version, which again was two bags for £5 you got... A Caribbean Sun Bronzer Duo, a Wide Awake Palette, a 2 in 1 Eyeliner and Shadow Pencil and a Lip Blush!

Finally I had to go to Ciate! Where I picked up the Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar for £20! I just couldn't leave it there! So Ill be reviewing these at the end of each week with my Boots Beauty Calendar.

Then I picked up the Set which has eight mini polishes in, For just £5! I think I'll be doing a review on this little set very soon so look out for it!

Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see a full review on too!

Sweater Weather Tag!

Hi Guys,

The lovely Taylor from Taylorscollectionn tagged me to do the Sweater Weather Tag back at the beginning of November and me being a useless blogger completely forgot! But I'm doing it now and Its a great Tag so thank you so much for tagging me Taylor!

1. Favourite candle scent?
I need to start using up all my candles! I don't really have a particular favourite scent, I don't like spicy ones and I really want to try Merry Marshmallow from Yankee candles.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
I don't like hot drinks, I can't stand tea or coffee but I love the new costa White Hot Chocolate, I don't like the cherry syrup with it though so I always get it plain.

3. What's the best fall memory you have?
I can't really think of one, all I can think of is being freezing cold and sliding on ice which isn't probably the best memory I could come up with haha!

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?
Dark Lips! I'm so pale as well (NW10 in Mac) that dark lips make me look even paler but I love them so much. I have started to really like wearing winged liner recently though.

5. What do you want to be for Halloween?
Well seeing as I was suppose to do this tag a while ago before Halloween, I guess the question is what we're you for Halloween? So the answer to that is a sugar skull, I did the Illamasqua Madame Prudence design I have pictures on my Instagram if you'd like to see.

6. Favourite Thanksgiving food?
We don't have Thanksgiving in the UK but I do love mini sausages wrapped in bacon at this time of year.

7. Hats or Scarves?
I'm not a big junkie over hats and scarfs, especially scarfs. But I do love a particular scarf this year from H&M but if I have to choose just one it'll be hats!

8. Most worn sweater?
It has to be a beige cable knit jumper from Primark, I must of got it like three years ago and it's just starting to fall apart. There's a similar one in there this year that I think I'll have to get.

9. Favourite fall nail polish?
It has to probably be the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in watermelon if I have to choose just one.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?
I'm not really a fan of standing in a muddy field freezing to death watching football, so I think it'll have to be jumping in leaf piles.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?
Definitely Skinny Jeans, although leggings are comfier, the see through problem is too much of a issue for me.

12. Combat boots or Uggs?
Uggs are so warm and fluffy but I have no shape unless you spend a fortune for a proper pair, it'll have to be combat boots!

13. What's your #1 favourite thing about fall?
Christmas is coming! That's my favourite thing, I love Christmas so much!

I Tag:
Again I'm at college and on my phone so I can't actually tag anyone just yet! By Saturday at the latest ill have tagged for this and on my Liebster award too.

I hope you all like this tag and as well as tagging a certain few, I tag you to do this if you have a blog and want tot do it! So make sure to leave your links down in the comments when you do!
