Take The Day Off with Clinique

Hi Guys,

I think I've found the ultimate cleansing dream team, between these two products from the Take The Day Off Range from Clinique, taking off my makeup has never been easier. I have to admit I've never really been the biggest fan of taking off my makeup, I always leave it till the last minute when I'm half asleep! But now I actually quite look forward to taking it off just so I can use these two...
Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes and Lips - £17
I usually use this alongside Bioderma, as its specifically an eye and lip makeup remover. I don't usually need to use it with the cleansing balm, though if you wanted to you could. I love how gentle it is when removing makeup, yet it's still quick and effective. All of Clinique's products are 100% fragrance free and allergy tested, which is fantastic if you have sensitive eyes. Ive tried so many eye makeup removers, a lot of which have really irritated my eyes, but this one doesn't at all. I especially love the fact that its safe to use for contact lenses wearers, which makes it that bit easier for me to use too!
Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm - £22
I think this is the ultimate dream product though, the Cleansing Balm is so handy to have, as it will melt off every single last trace of makeup, as if it was no effort at all. It's easy to see why its such a much loved favourite among a lot of beauty lovers. It's a solid lightweight balm, which quickly changes into a soft oil because of the heat from the skin. I just rinse it off with warm water and a muslin cloth and it leaves my skin feeling clean but still moisturised, as it doesn't strip the skin either,  but at the same time doesn't leave an oily residue either!

  1. Ahh, Take The Day Off Balm has been on my list for a while now. I'm loving the Bodyshop Camomile Cleansing Butter but now I'm kind of eager to run out of that so I can justify picking up the Clinique one! :P

  4. Great post! The Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm used to be my holy grail but recently I've been using the Body Shop Camomile version! Think I might have to pick myself another one of these up though - for old times sake of course! haha
